True to his engineering roots and precision-mindedness, Loftis employed
a collection of lasers to help arrange his Legggggs exhibit images to within
mere fractions of an inch.

Loftis's 50 year retrospective was the largest temporary exhibition ever
held at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art, claiming two floors of gallery space.
